Notice for Filing of Candidates for City of Rushmore General Election

Notice is hereby given that the City General Election for the City of Rushmore will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Voters will elect two (2) Councilmembers for a four (4) year term each. All terms begin serving in January, 2025. Affidavits of Candidacy for the above listed offices may be filed with the Clerk-Treasurer July 30, 2024 through August 13, 2024 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at Rushmore City Hall, 136 N Thompson Avenue, Rushmore, Minnesota. Due to Primary Election, held on August 13, 2024 Affidavits of Candidacy may be filed with the Clerk-Treasurer at the Rushmore School Building Community Room until 5:00 p.m. on August 13th.
